Rooted in her words

Roots started quietly. I was sitting at home, gazing at my olive tree a symbol that’s always felt close to me. It reminded me of where I come from, of heritage, of strength. That moment stayed with me. It felt grounding, like a gentle nudge to start something of my own.

When I moved to Egypt, a place I’ve always felt connected to I wanted to root myself more deeply in it. I was inspired by the creativity and energy around me. Local brands, artists & makers, all creating with care and intention. I didn’t have a grand plan, just a feeling. I wanted to make clothing that felt like home.

Comfortable. Soft. Honest.

Roots became a way to translate that feeling into something real. The name was inspired by my Palestinian background a quiet tribute to where I come from but the designs themselves reflect something else entirely. They're shaped by the here and now. By everyday life.

The pieces are simple, but thoughtful made for the quiet moments, the daily rituals. The colors are drawn from nature. The fits are made to move with you, not against you. And everything is made close to home, by hands that care.

This brand is still growing, just like I am. But at the heart of it, it’s always been about connection to where we come from, how we feel in our clothes, and how we show up in the world.

Thanks for being here.
